BEA’s new EVOLOOP barrier sensor offers a smart alternative to induction loops, with 3 virtual induction loops and 140° field of view, with no roadworks needed.
Easy to install and set up, the EVOLOOP uses Frequency-Modulated Continuous-Wave (FMCW) radar to protect vehicles and pedestrians by reducing the risk of contact with the barrier arm (boom) in accordance with EN 12453 type D.
It can be used with all types of barriers, even those with a skirt or hinged support, triggering barrier opening/closing, activating ticketing and number plate recognition systems.
EVOLOOP is reliable in all weather conditions, including fog, heavy rain, frost and snow.
A free to download, intuitive app allows automatic teach-in of the environment with preconfigured loops, while a range of accessories including metallic cover, bracket and vandal-resistant housing is also available.
